If anyone had told me, many years ago, that not only would I be standing on stages and sharing my knowledge but that I'd be enjoying myself..... I would have snorted in disbelief!

Yet here I am, speaking at Conferences as a breakout or keynote speaker, at theatres in huge home and property exhibitions as a property and design expert and at events aimed at female entrepreneurs.

Who'd have thunk it?

I certainly didn't, yet I am so so grateful to my wonderful first mentor, Ann Maurice, UK TV's original House Doctor, who saw something in me and literally pushed me onto a stage with very little notice!
